BUILDING & PLANT MANAGER

You will manage and coordinate small and large construction and infrastructure projects, from setting up the construction site to completing concrete work and constructing infrastructure. You respond flexibly to changes in planning or unexpected problems that arise during the execution of projects. You manage project planning and materials, monitor progress and ensure that deadlines are met. You collaborate with and manage a team of technicians, construction workers and employees in the execution of daily maintenance, construction and infrastructure work. You will manage external contractors and suppliers involved in the execution of projects and maintenance weeks. CRANE OPERATOR

What is your challenge? As a crane operator, you are responsible for unloading the raw materials that are delivered by inland waterway vessels. Together with your colleagues from the filling and purchasing department, you ensure that production always has the necessary raw materials. You will be in close contact with the skippers to ensure the smooth supply and removal of raw materials. You will be able to work with both the crane and the bobcat. Who are we looking for? You are highly focused and able to work accurately in stressful circumstances. You are not afraid to make decisions. Working safely is extremely important. Experience with crane work is essential, specifically with the “balance crane” type. You are willing to work irregular hours, as you are dependent on the tides of the Rupel. You speak fluent Dutch.

CONCRETE PRESS OPERATOR

As an operator, you are responsible for setting up and operating a concrete press. You select the production data and set the necessary parameters. Your knowledge of the machine's production process enables you to detect the causes of downtime and formulate a solution. In time, you will also be able to resolve minor malfunctions yourself. You check the manufactured products for compliance with standards and quality in consultation with the laboratory. You transport the manufactured goods to the correct location on site using a forklift truck. You work in a two-shift system together with your colleagues.
