PREFA is a leading European family-owned company that has specialized for 80 years in aluminum roofing, façade, and rainwater systems. From its Belgian branch, PREFA (prefa.be) supports contractors, architects, and building owners with sustainable solutions for both new construction and renovation projects. All PREFA products are manufactured in Austria and Germany under strict quality standards. PREFALZ
PREFALZ offers numerous options in terms of colour and shape. Thanks to the aluminium material, it is more supple than most comparable folding materials and is thus particularly easy to work with. With its low weight of between 2.2 and 2.3 kg/m², depending on the tray width, PREFALZ is suitable for roof renovations as well as for new buildings, as it adapts perfectly to the different building methods. It can also be expanded with the wide range of PREFA system accessories. The PREFALZ roof system is 100 % compatible with PREFALZ solar modules. These are available in two sizes and enable optimal integration into the roof surface without any roof penetrations. An efficient and sustainable solution for producing your own electricity.
R.16
PREFA aluminium roof tiles stand for the highest standard of quality, ensuring durability and stability. With the R.16 roof tile, PREFA has developed a stripped-down roof design that leaves plenty of room for creating unmistakeably unique architecture. Regardless of the size and shape of the roof, the PREFA R.16 roof tile gives creativity plenty of space to achieve attractive, unmistakably unique solutions.
DS.19
The DS.19 roof shingle is not only a visual highlight, it can be installed starting at a roof pitch of only 17 degrees, setting new standards in this product segment. At 480 × 262 mm, the DS.19 is slightly larger than the classic PREFA roof shingle and can therefore be installed even faster and more efficiently. Only eight pieces of DS.19 are required per m², and that with a (light) weight of just 2.75kg/m².
Rhomboid 44x44
The large format of the rhomboid roof tile 44 × 44 gives the building a particularly elegant and modern appearance. Weighing only 2.6 kg/m², it is not only extremely lightweight, but the integrated fastening strips also enable a quick and thus more cost-effective installation. Only approx. five rhomboid roof tiles are required for one square metre. This also saves time. Thanks to the flat lock system and the well-distributed fastening, the rhomboid roof tile 44 × 44 is extremely storm-proof and weather-resistant.
Ripple profile
Modern façade design needs space for creative and innovative ideas. The PREFA ripple profile gives you flexibility when implementing your ideas. The PREFA ripple profile, made of 2 mm-thick, extruded aluminium alloy, ensures maximum shape retention and resistance even under extreme strain. Just like the PREFA sidings, PREFA Siding.X is a high-quality façade element made of aluminium that is installed as a non-bearing, rear-ventilated façade. Whether it is installed vertically, horizontally or diagonally, with cross bracing or an irregular pattern, the Siding.X façade panel will lend your façade a modern and attractive surface finish. For an even greater degree of personalisation, the stylish façade can be installed with or without a shadow gap. Siding
PREFA façade sidings are classic elements of both traditional and modern façade design. These high-grade aluminium façade panels can be installed vertically, horizontally or even diagonally, and take the form of a non-bearing, rear-ventilated façade. This means that there is space for air to circulate between the supporting structure and the PREFA aluminium façade.
PREFABOND
The PREFABOND aluminium composite panel is the ideal façade cladding not only for large areas, but also for small ones — it not only looks great but is also extremely durable thanks to a special combination of materials. It is also highly resistant to corrosion and weather, and boasts high deflection stiffness and shock resistance. It also offers great design freedom with all the advantages of rainscreens. PREFABOND consists of two aluminium sheets which are fusion-bonded to both sides of an FR core (fire retardant). This connection is particularly robust due to the chemical and mechanical fastening. Roof drainage
Good for the environment The PREFA aluminium drainage system is the best choice from an ecological point of view too. This is because aluminium does not release harmful heavy metal ions into the sewage water when gutters and pipes are constantly flushed out with rainwater, as is the case with conventional materials.
