Menuiserie Riche
About us
Menuiserie Riche is a Belgian manufacturer of wood and wood-aluminium windows, doors and façades. At the cutting edge of technology, it offers you high-performance joinery that is both thermal and acoustic, as well as safe, and entirely made to measure. Highly committed to the environment, the company has been awarded the ‘Menuiserie Durable’, PEFC, PHI and Biosourced Product labels, and has made Environmental Product Declarations (B-EPD for Belgium, FDES for France), which enable the environmental impact of buildings to be calculated (via TOTEM in particular), and are used in the calculations for BREEAM and WELL certifications, as well as in the GRO standards. These certifications should also be proof of the European DNSH principles. The factory offers high production capacity for both new-build and renovation projects, with impressive flexibility. In renovation projects, it is common practice to incorporate elements of old joinery into new ones, in order to preserve the authenticity of the facades.
Products & services

Windows
Manufactured in Belgium, windows from Menuiserie Riche offer the highest technical performances: thermal insulation, A-W-W resistance, resistance to use and safety have all been tested and approved by Buidlwise. As all production is made to measure, Menuiserie Riche offers a very wide range of windows, in terms of thickness, wood species, finishes and types of opening. To ensure that the frames fit in as well as possible with the project, 80mm, 90mm or 90mm Energyline glulam frames (with integrated insulation for Energyline) are available in wood and wood-aluminium. The historic 60mm thickness has been retained for renovation, and is back in the limelight with the declared desire of environmental projects to optimise raw materials. All types of windows are available: fixed, opening (single, double, multiple), reversible, pivoting, 3 types of sash, sliding or folding windows, etc. The wood species used, such as pine, larch, oak, spruce and meranti, are PEFC-certified, to guarantee that they come from sustainably managed forests. The paint finishes, produced in the factory, offer a choice of almost 2,200 colours, and guarantee a maintenance-free life of 10 years. The use of a wooden frame guarantees easy maintenance over the long term, as the frame has been given a high life expectancy in its Life Cycle Assessment. The flexibility of the workshops, managed by the digitisation of data, means that they can produce very small quantities for projects involving more than 1,000 windows, all within the required timeframe. And this is true whatever the style of the window: modern or traditional, with custom mouldings. For window frames intended for listed buildings, Menuiserie Riche remanufactures the elements identically, and can recover existing elements from old joinery.

Doors
Made to measure, Menuiserie Riche doors can be completely adapted to your projects. From passive performance to heritage performance, anything is possible. Manufactured in thicknesses of 80mm and 90mm in glued laminated timber, these doors offer high thermal performance, as well as surprising resistance to burglary and deformation, and can be fitted with all modern digital opening systems. Suitable for modern buildings and state-of-the-art renovations, you can choose between 2 manufacturing systems: a classic frame or a door block, which will be individually manufactured in our workshops governed by digitalization and data processes. These modern workshops operate like a craftsman's workshop, enabling us to manufacture both single units and hundreds of doors, with the same flexibility and on-time delivery. Modern doors are often available as wooden door units, or as wood-aluminium doors. Doors designed for heritage buildings are handled in a very specific way. Our in-house design office allows us to redesign and make 3D models as soon as the order is placed, so that we can manufacture identical doors. Knives are remade to obtain the same mouldings as the old ones. We regularly re-use old elements, such as wrought-iron grilles, letter-box entrances, tie-rods, mouldings or worked panels.

curtain walls
Menuiserie Riche's wood-aluminium curtain walls feature a load-bearing wood structure with an external aluminium cladding. Exterior cladding in wood is also possible. The slimness of the profiles means that modern architecture can be incorporated into both new-build and renovation projects. Openings (windows, doors, ....) can usually be integrated. Different types of wood are available, either solid (softwood, carpentry quality) or glued laminated (softwood, oak, meranti, joinery quality). Different sizes and shapes of curtain walls can be produced, always with a feasibility study for specific projects. Wood-aluminium curtain walls allow wood to be integrated into the project's environmental study (decarbonation, bio-sourced materials) and provide a sense of well-being for the building's occupants.

Bay windows
Manufactured in Belgium, Menuiserie Riche's range of bay windows offers the highest levels of technical performance in terms of thermal insulation, AEV resistance, durability and safety. In addition to its window frames, Menuiserie Riche manufactures a range of different types of bay windows, including lift-and-slide, drop-and-slide, folding doors, balcony doors and curtain walls. These windows are available in a range of thicknesses and wood types, and can be made entirely to measure to suit your project, both in the wood and wood-aluminium frame ranges. The wood species used, such as Scots pine, larch, oak, spruce and meranti, are PEFC-certified, to guarantee that they come from sustainably managed forests. The paint finishes, produced in the factory, offer a choice of almost 2,200 colours, and guarantee a maintenance-free life of 10 years. The use of a wooden frame guarantees easy maintenance over the long term, as the frame has a high lifespan according to its Life Cycle Assessment. The flexibility of the workshops, managed by the digitisation of data, means that they can produce very small quantities for projects involving more than 1,000 windows, all within the agreed timeframe. And this is true whatever the style of the window: modern or traditional, with made-to-measure mouldings. For window frames intended for listed buildings, Menuiserie Riche remanufactures the elements identically, and can recover existing elements from old joinery.
