About us
Mapei Benelux NV is a subsidiary of the Mapei Group, 𝗮 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗱𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀, 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀. Founded in 1937, the company has more than 100 production sites in 57 countries, with a range of over 7,700 products across 24 product lines. Based in Grâce-Hollogne, Mapei Belgium has its own warehouse, showroom and training centre, and distributes Mapei products through professional building materials dealers.
𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗶, which assumes the role of pioneer in the construction industry. The company contributes concretely to the fight against climate change by 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁. This optimisation of product development started quite some time ago.
𝗖𝗢𝟮-𝗻𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺
Ten years ago, Mapei introduced Keraflex Maxi S1 Zero, a cement-based adhesive for ceramic tiles, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. Meanwhile, it has become one of the world's best-selling and most popular adhesives. For the well-established cementitious grout Ultracolor Plus, full lifecycle CO2 emissions are offset. On top of that, the company also uses environmental credits to encourage the start-up of renewable energy and reforestation projects. Last year, Mapei shifted another gear, with the first fully carbon-neutral system for laying ceramic tiles, thanks to its switch to a carbon-neutral supply chain.

Mapefer 1K ZERO - Anti-corrosion cementitious mortar
One-component anti-corrosion cementitious mortar with CO2 fully offset in the entire life cycle for protecting steel reinforcement MAPEFER 1K ZERO is a one-component mortar made from cementitious binders, powdered polymers and corrosion inhibitors and is applied to steel reinforcement to prevent the formation of rust and as an adhesion promoter for mortar used to repair concrete. MAPEFER 1K ZERO complies with the principles defined in EN 1504-9 (“Products and systems for repairing concrete structures: definitions, requirements, quality control and conformity assessment. General principles for the use of products and systems”) and the minimum requirements of EN 1504-7 (“Reinforcement corrosion protection”). Mapegrout 430 ZERO - Fibre-reinforced thixotropic mortar
Fibre-reinforced fine-grained thixotropic mortar with CO2 fully offset in the entire life cycle MAPEGROUT 430 ZERO is a pre-blended, compensated-shrinkage mortar in powder form made from cementitious binders, selected fine-grained aggregates, special additives and synthetic fibres according to a formula developed in the MAPEI R&D laboratories. It is used to reintegrate concrete around steel reinforcement in degraded concrete structures and may be applied with a continuous-feed mortar pump. Thanks to its particular formulation the product has excellent fatigue behaviour up to at least 300,000 cycles, which gives repaired structures a high level of resistance to cracking, including when subjected to dynamic loads induced under normal service conditions. This particular characteristic, together with the requirements of EN 1504, helps increase the durability of elements repaired with MAPEGROUT 430 ZERO. Mapefill ZERO - Plastic mortar
Plastic mortar with positive internal stress with CO2 fully offset in the entire life cycle MAPEFILL ZERO is a pre-blended mortar in powder form made from high-strength cement, selected aggregates and special additives, including an expansive agent, according to a formula developed in the MAPEI R&D laboratories. MAPEFILL ZERO is suitable for repairing degraded structures that need to be reintegrated with hi-flow mortar and for anchoring machinery or metal structures accurately in position. Thanks to its particular formulation the product has excellent fatigue behaviour up to at least 30,000 cycles, which gives repaired structures a high level of resistance to cracking, including when subjected to dynamic loads induced under normal service conditions. This particular characteristic, together with the requirements of EN 1504, helps increase the durability of elements repaired with MAPEFILL ZERO. MAPELASTIC ZERO is a two-component elastic cementitious mortar for permanent, durable, simply and quickly waterproofing of balconies and terraces, created thanks to more than 30 years of experience using MAPELASTIC.
