Fema - Feproma

About us

Fema has represented the professional interests of Belgian building merchants since 1936. In this capacity, Fema is a full member of the Parity Committee for the Construction Industry (PC124).

Additionally, Fema is involved in non-commercial initiatives within the construction value chain.
Together with producers (Feproma) and contractors, specific actions are taken to optimize the functioning of this value chain. Examples of these initiatives include digitization, packaging, and sustainability.

Feproma was established in 1996 by a significant group of major building materials producers.
Feproma members meet two criteria: on the one hand, they have a relevant presence in the Belgian market, ensuring a direct point of contact, and on the other hand, they use the professional building merchant as a sales channel in the B2B market.
A harmonious relationship between production and trade is sought through a Charter that reflects this mutual respect.
