Timber-frame
Carpentier offers timber-frame solutions to meet the needs of every construction professional, from timber-frame builders, carpenters and roofers to contractors. Drawing on our extensive expertise, we produce prefab panel walls for new build and renovation projects and for extensions to existing structures. Save time from the start with our handy app, which helps you design a timber-frame construction and calculate the cost of that design. What is a timber-frame construction? Timber-frame is a dry construction method in which the load-bearing elements of a structure - walls, subfloors and roof - are constructed entirely in wood. Carpentier produces all of these prefabricated elements in its own workshops, delivering high-precision products to the building site as a timber-frame kit. Timber-frame construction is ideal for a wide range of projects involving both new builds and renovation. Thanks to the advanced design software in our app, our ultramodern machines and the support provided by our technical department - which also carries out the necessary preliminary studies - we can rapidly produce a design for any project. Timber cladding
Timber cladding Carpentier supplies high-quality, eco-friendly timber cladding in oak, thermal wood varieties, Accoya and reclaimed barnwood. By working closely with product developers, we are able to offer innovative, stylish profiles that are even more user-friendly and easy to install. There is a very good reason that we call it ‘Smart wood for nice places’. Quick, invisible installation Used in combination with our Accoya and thermally modified wood (HOTwood) varieties, the invisible Grad® mounting system makes installation easier than ever and saves you a significant amount of installation time. With pre-mounted clips already attached to aluminium joists, boards simply click in place. Installation takes place with no need for nails or screws. Our QuickClip® profiles ensure easy installation and a perfect finish, with results that will make every builder proud. Furthermore, we supply everything you need to install and finish timber cladding: waterproof membranes, aluminium joists, battens, clip grips etc. Have a look at our installation accessories! Durable cladding profiles and finishes Our durable timber cladding profiles are available in a range of sustainable wood varieties: thermo ash, thermo pine, thermo clear pine, thermo bamboo, Accoya, oak and barnwood. Various finishes can be applied depending on the wood, including preweathering, charring, brushing and oiling. We are happy to help you choose the perfect finish for the wood used in each project, which means that your only job as a woodworking professional is to install the cladding itself. Most profiles are suitable for both horizontal and vertical alignment.
