About us
Since 1971, Albintra has held a strong position in the Belgian and Luxembourg markets as an importer and distributor of construction specialties for dealers in building materials, timber, insulation materials, roofing solutions and construction plastics.
In addition to distribution, Albintra has been designing and producing its own skylights for many years. These are mainly used in industrial buildings, but are increasingly finding their way into residential projects. Production takes place at our facility in Emblem, while our headquarters are located in Broechem.

Marmox® Thermoblock thermal bridge insulation
Marmox THERMOBLOCK is a patented insulating block, consisting of an insulating part with a thickness from 47 to 94 mm. The upper and lower sides are covered with a 3 mm layer of (nano)polymeric cement, reinforced with a fibreglass mesh. The insulating part itself consists of extruded polystyrene foam (XPS) containing regularly spaced load-bearing (nano) polymeric concrete cylinders. These cylinders are inextricably connected to the upper and lower sides. The product has a unique compressive strength and R-value and is watertight, lightweight and easy to work with. It is the best solution to stop thermal bridges for example at the foot of the wall.
AMORIM® cork
Cork is a natural raw material which is 100% biodegradable, recyclable and renewable. It has excellent thermal and acoustic properties. Cork is stripped from the trunk of the Cork Oak every nine years, without damaging the tree. The largest areas of cork oak forest are in Western Mediterranean countries. More than half the world production is in Portugal. The climatic influence of the Atlantic Ocean ensures the superior quality of the Portugese cork.

CEWOOD® wood wool panels
CEWOOD successfully applies Latvia’s 50-year tradition of producing wood wool panels. By remaining committed to sustainable and responsible production and sourcing of raw materials, CEWOOD has achieved, in addition to PEFC certification, the FSC, NaturePlus, and most recently this year, the Cradle to Cradle certification. CEWOOD offers a range of advanced solutions that combine high sound absorption capacity with the durability and eco-compatibility of a natural product, which is both aesthetically appealing and mechanically resilient. Natural, white, black, and grey are the most common colors. These panels are available in fire classifications B-S1, d0, and A2-s1, d0. Initially, wood wool panels were primarily used for insulating buildings and strengthening structures. Today, in addition to these applications, acoustic and decorative panels are widely used in various interior design solutions and industrial applications. The company is continuously optimizing its production processes and launching new products. It has recently opened a new production line in a state-of-the-art factory in Alūksne, marking a significant step toward sustainability and innovation.
Hunton Nativo® Wood Fiber Insulation Boards
Hunton Nativo® is mainly based on natural wood fiber. The spruce chips we use in production come from Norwegian forests with PEFC-certification. The insulation boards can be used in walls, floors and ceilings. Hygroscopic properties Nativo Wood Fiber Insulation has good moisture properties. Wood fiber has hygroscopic properties, which means that it absorbs and emits moisture in line with the relative humidity of the air. Structural stability Wood fiber insulation is dimensionally stable and does not sink. High density and stiffness prevent air pockets, sinks and settlements. The wood fiber’s natural ability to reduce air movement in the insulation provides good sealing around windows. Good sound absorbing-properties The insulation boards have a high density, which means that it absorbs and attenuates sound very well. Insulation capacity Nativo Wood Fiber Insulation Board has a lambda value of 0.038 W/mK. Walls and ceilings do not necessarily become thicker with Nativo Wood Fiber Insulation. With 250 mm wood fiber insulation in the wall and 300 mm wood fiber insulation in the ceiling, you meet the U-value requirement according to the Technical Regulations. The insulation is treated with a flame retardant The insulation satisfies Euroclass E and is impregnated with a flame retardant, which is a mixture of ammonium salts (ammonium sulfate/ammonium phosphate). This is a chemical compound that can also be used in fire extinguishers. The insulation is completely free of brominated flame retardants.
