Futurebuild Belgium focuses on the most sustainable innovations and solutions in the construction industry. This two-day networking event is home to 140 exhibitors, a start-up zone, an Innovation Corner and an Academy Campus. It is also a hub for objective information, delivered to professionals through inspiring seminars, debates, content sessions and much more.

The challenge in the construction sector is significant: achieving ‘net zero’ by 2050. Futurebuild Belgium provides the ultimate networking and knowledge platform to work together toward this shared goal. Winners innovation awards 2026
The Futurebuild Innovation Awards 2026 recognise the most innovative ideas across the construction, real estate and architecture sectors.
The awards were presented in two categories, each highlighting a different type of innovator.
Best Established Company: Yuco (by Nelissen)
In the Best Established Company category, Yuco (by Nelissen) was awarded the prize. Their innovative bricks are produced without the traditional, energy-intensive firing process, resulting in a significantly lower CO₂ impact.
Paulussen Houthandel and Rehau complete the podium with a circular timber façade system and innovative window and door solutions.
Best Start-up: SCOPR
The Best Start-up award goes to SCOPR, which impressed the jury with a digital platform that calculates renovation costs in just one minute. By leveraging data and automation, SCOPR enables faster and more efficient decision-making in the early stages of a project.
Metigla and Pleevi complete the podium with innovative solutions in integrated solar energy and smart energy management, respectively.
Futurebuild Innovation Awards

The Futurebuild Innovation Awards recognise the most innovative and sustainable solutions within the construction, real estate and architecture sectors. Established companies, young start-ups and student projects alike are given the opportunity to showcase their innovation and receive recognition from both a professional jury and the public.
Networking Hours
End your day at Futurebuild Belgium during our Networking Hours, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. During these friendly “happy hours”, we strengthen one of the event’s key objectives: connecting people. Visitors and exhibitors come together for informal conversations, new contacts and unexpected insights. Enjoy special bar rates, a complimentary snack and drink at the stands, and the perfect atmosphere to expand your network. Futurebuild is about both knowledge and connection and here, the two come together perfectly.

Meet & Match Zone: Schedule appointments or host a meeting in the inspiring ‘Meet & Match’ zone. This unique space, constructed entirely of cardboard and recyclable materials was designed by LINKON, an agency specializing in sustainable event design.
Architecten zonder Grenzen
This year, Futurebuild Belgium’s cloak room was not just a hands-on service. A symbolic contribution of €2 was requested, which was donated in full to Architects Without Borders Belgium-Netherlands (ASF Be-Nl), a non-profit organization active since 1994 and part of the worldwide network Architecture Sans Frontières International (ASF-INT). ASF-INT currently has organizations in 30 countries.
What does ASF Be-Nl do?
ASF Be-Nl volunteers are committed to sustainable built environments, social equity and care for cultural and built heritage. Their work spans several continents and has already made an impact in countries such as DR Congo, Peru, Kenia en Sierra Leone, and many others.
